Daniel and his wife will take you on a holiday experience to remember,  to visit and experience the music, the generosity and the warm of the people of Brazil. For 15 days you are accompanied by Daniel and Catherine into the heart of a musical Brazil you would never see on a standard package holiday.

Daniel is a professional musician with over twenty years of songwriting and entertaining audiences both here in France and in Brazil.  His music is a mix of latin, jazz,  reggae and world  fusion.  As Daniel explained to me "I want to show people that you do not need to be tied to a holiday package where you have to get up at seven and down for breakfast at eight, regimented and unchangeable... I want to give people a holiday that leaves them feeling that they have experienced a great time, seen real people and musicians, made friends and done something out of the ordinary".

Based on her own experiences of how difficult it can be to organise care for your pets and other animals, having to put dogs into kennels, find someone feed the cats, check the horses, look after the chickens and any other animals as well. Plus having to take  pets to a boarding kennels, usually the day before leaving for your holiday and then having to collect again, either after a long journey home, can be both time consuming stressful  and expensive.

So Jennifer decided that taking care of peoples pets and home together was an great solution for many people. Having the added benefit of ensuring security and peace of mind whilst they were away. Pets are well cared for in their own familiar environment, fed at their normal times, taken for walks and just able to enjoy lying out in their favourite spot in the garden. Although for Jennifer, dogs and cats tend to be the main animals she is asked to care for, she is very happy to look after a wide variety of animals, having  owned over the years, horses, pigs, goats, sheep, assorted poultry, etc. Jennifer is also happy to  tend to the needs of your garden, whilst house and pet sitting, so you don't come back to wilting flowers and plants.

If you fancy a trip out this weekend to see some local artists and artisans exhibiting their work and crafts then pop over to the fourth Spring Exhibition at St Martin le Bouillant near to Villedieu les Poeles.

There is a wide variety of work on display from illustrator Gary Chalk to the art association ARCUVIBOC  displaying some childrens comic book designs, sculpture and puppets. There is also a photography exhibition, which is part of a larger exhibition showcasing work by Normandy photographers, currently touring Normandy "Territoires des Photographes" there is also a local crafts man who makes clogs, a light airplane that has been built by an amateur enthusiast,  using an Honda lawn mower engine,  to demonstrations of horse shoeing by the local pony club. There is even a local DJ showing his light and sound show which is available for hire.

Also exhibiting are some of the local French artisans, from roofers, carpenters, builders to an interior designer/architectdisplaying their trades and skills and available to answer any questions you may have.

So if your back is aching from all the gardening you have been doing these last few sunny days... then pop down to lower Normandy and see this display of work by some very  talented people.

Entry is Free and you can buy refreshments. Some of the art is for sale and the artists and photographers are there to chat with you.
