Things are moving rapidly for our local musicians since I brought to your attention the new album by Pascal.

While staying at Julian’s home, local record producer, Dave Scott played Normandie sensation, Pascal Alavoine's new album “Les Couleurs d’ Alavoine” and the Normandie based, Bluedust band “The Walls of Lies” album from his record company www.toshrecords.com. “Brilliant!!” was Julian’s response. In fact Julian went to FNAC in Monaco to purchase the albums immediately!

It is always a pleasure to comment on local talent. Pascal Alavoine has recorded and released a new CD on the Tosh record label whose recording studios are just above Brecey.

There are 13 tracks which show Pascal's talent as a singer and musician. All the songs are sung well in english, but for one exception: "Loin des Couleurs de la Ville" and this stands out from the others with  confidence and vitality.

As a debut album it is very good and deserves a listen.
