When the Holly Tree closed, the folk club was left without a venue. A desperate search was on for something suitable. "It's got to be a bar with decent beer" said Joe, one of the regular folk players, "It's all very well playing in each others homes, but it's better with an audience".

Thankfully the Folk Sessions have found a new home in Marino's Bar, Moyon from 20:30 every second Friday of the month. All are welcome, if you can play an instrument you can join in, I have tried (badly) with my harmonica and it was great fun! But if you just want to come and listen, soaking up the atmosphere, you are also welcome.
