lastrendezvous.jpgIt is always sad when a business gets into difficulties. But it is especially so when it also affects the local community.

The Rendezvous Magazine is a local magazine in Normandy for English speakers. It last appeared on the shelves for sale around mid April, then in May it did not appear causing much speculation on the local forums. The editor Miranda Ingram eventually posted a comment on the forum writing that the mag had experienced difficulties, but would be on sale again in the summer with a bumper issue.

However since then there has been no summer bumper issue and people have found the editors nigh on impossible to contact, which has caused a lot of anguish especially amongst the paid subscribers and advertisers.

Here at Normandy Magazine we realise just how important local targeted advertising is for businesses in the area. So to help we are offering twelve months free advertising, here on our site, to all local businesses and organisations who advertised with the Rendezvous magazine. We know that we will never be the same as a printed magazine, but we feel that any form of advertising is better than none!

We hope that whatever difficulties the Rendezvous Magazine is having, they manage to resolve them and bounce back.
