September
This meeting we will be looking at some Indonesian cookery; Bourghati
and Gadu Gadu.
October
We will be making chutney together. Please bring all your
ingredients,
For example: apples, plums, onions, tomatoes green and red, rhubarb,
spices, malt vinegar.
November
On this occasion we are going to sample some Greek Cookery: Aubergine
Dip and Baklava.
January 2010
For January we try two Italian dishes; Chicken Passata and Tiramisu.

The association Arts vivant dans le Bocage are commencing their weekly art classes to be held at the Salle number two in the village of St Martin le Bouillant. Classes commence on Wednesday 3rd September at 8h00. For more info contact NormandyMagazine via the contact form.

Hambye Abbey
Founded in the 12 century by an order of Benedictine monks, the abbey is set in a peaceful valley surrounded buy hills and woodland.
It took two centuries to achieve this magnificent edifice. Today the immense church is in ruins, but the arches of Roman and Gothic architecture remain. The rest of the abbey has been carefully restored including the 13th century capitular room, the scriptorium and the sacristry. Throughout the summer a programme of workshops and concerts take place.
